Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, working in a collaberative team environment, your role will be varied and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and executing bank reconciliations
- Investigating, documenting, and resolving all queries regarding the movements of cash across Nostro account.
- Preparing accounting entries with relation to interest claims, non-receipt, value date entries in relation to the Nostro Reconciliation processes.
- Reporting and clearance of outstanding items.
- Responsibility for Accounts Payable, ensuring all invoices are paid and processed promptly and in a timely manner.
- Daily monitoring and maintenance of Finance department inbox and correspondences.
Profile
Accounting and Finance graduate.
Some practical accounting experience either via placement year or post university e.g bank reconciliations
Desire to study for the CIMA or ACCA qualification
Good communication skills and keen to work in a collaberative team envirnoment
