Harmonic are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with a scaling hospitality group on the hire of a Finance Analyst to join the team in a newly created position.


Reporting to the Head of Finance this is one of the most exciting roles that Harmonic will be bringing to market this year.


This role is newly created and has come around because of sustained growth over the past few years. Our client has successfully expanded their business to over 60 stores, which are a mix of pop-ups and retail stores, not only across the UK market but also internationally. Now sold across 4 different continents this brand is globally recognized for its high-quality products which have been perfected over time and are enjoyed in the millions.


With expansion plans to open another 2 sites in just London alone this position will serve as a key hire to their continued success and future growth of the business as well as a great platform to grow your career.

Whilst the Head Office team in London is small, it would suit candidates who enjoy working with autonomy and being part of a high caliber senior leadership team.


The role:

This role will oversee the timely and insightful reporting across the group. Working alongside the Head of Finance this role will be responsible for the data handling, improvements to process (and reporting) as well as analysis to support growth across the business units.


  • Improving data infrastructure (predominantly Excel based for now) and control across the UK companies. Supported by and reporting into the Head of Finance.
  • Analyse and develop a single data repository for global sales information (13+ markets currently).
  • Become the main point of contact for managing the companies EPOS system’s “back of house” software. With a view to improve and build on the systems that they currently have.
  • Preparation of reports, including:- Weekly UK Sales, Waste, Franchisor Sales consolidation, Retail KPI.
  • Develop, automate & improve reports. Working closely with the FD, Head of Finance and Finance Assistant to drive efficiency with the reporting.
  • Be the “go-to” person in the company for data analysis and presentation of key material.
  • Assist with the consolidation of group monthly accounts and cash flows forecasts.
  • Global Packaging stock report data collection and consolidation.
  • Lead the utilization of external Power BI partner (called Artiq).
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects as required.


What our client would like to see:

  • Articulate spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills or experience with Tableau / PowerBI or any other data visualization software
  • Basic understanding of finance and accounting would be beneficial
  • Enthusiasm to be part of a scaling SME
  • Confident with presenting financial information to stakeholders


What we would like to see (non-essential):

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, pub groups, gym groups or multisite setting
  • would be beneficial but is not a requirement
  • 2+ years of finance or accounts experience or experience in a data-based role
  • Experience working in an SME / Start-up or environment where there has been change and development


Salary range: £35-45k + benefits (study support is on offer)


Location: Zone 1 / Hybrid working offered


Availability: No longer than 3 months
