Finance Assistant, Alternative Investor, £30,000-£35,000, London and Hybrid
We are working with a sustainability-led alternative investment Manager who is looking to welcome a Finance Assistant into their team. Managing over £10 billion, they have an excellent history in successful sustainable investing.

This is a brand-new role, reporting to the Finance Manager, where you will be responsible for maintaining high standards in this function. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and keen to make things better, having the skills to implement change and structure.
Your Role
- Preparing payment runs, maintaining cashbooks, and processing bank reconciliations.
- Processing any cheques received and petty cash.
- Handling Supplier's statement of accounts, questions, and invoices.
- Setting up BACS payments and processing staff expenses.
- Processing the payments to suppliers and the reimbursement of staff expenses, in a timely manner.
- Responding to queries from stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all processes and procedures are fully documented.
Your Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Finance or accounting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
- Excellent Excel skills, experience with accounting software, and a committed attention to detail.
