Finance Business Partner responsible for managing and leading a team of Finance Business Partners throughout the employment life cycle and including annual performance management.

They have over 30 primary and secondary academies that are changing the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Description

  • You will oversee giving financial advice and support to top management and budget holders.
  • Yearly budget, three-year financial forecast, balance sheet, control accounts, and cash flow management are all responsibilities.
  • Review of monthly credit card, petty cash reconciliations, aged debtors and creditor reports while supporting finance officers in clearing balances.
  • Support with teacher's Pension reconciliations, yearly reporting, and audits while evaluating payroll records and alerting the principal to substantial variances from budget.
  • Costing analysis and budgetary approval are required for new contract negotiations.
  • Responsible for up to four academy finances, which you will visit once a week on a day agreed upon with the institution.
  • Work with Academies to ensure all the required funding is duly claimed including LAC funding and ensure all funds are accurate reported.

Profile

  • Fully CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified with good verbal and writing communication abilities.
  • Show strong analytically abilities and a constructive attitude towards problem solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of Excel and experience to several accounting systems.
  • Accustomed to working to tight reporting deadlines.
  • Strong team building and line management skills is essential.

Job Offer

  • £55,000 - £60,000 + performance and loyalty bonus,
  • 26 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • 3 days in the office.
