Finance Business Partner - Strategy & Performance, 12 Month FTC

Great opportunity for any experienced Banking Finance Business Partners……we’re recruiting for this newly created role in one of the best global names in Private Banking…..

This is an ideal opportunity for someone to really put their stamp on an ambitious and growing business while helping to develop a class-leading Financial Planning & Analysis function that will genuinely support the decision making of the Head of Strategy, CFO and the board – who all have growth on their mind!!

You will work closely with the Head of FP & A and Senior colleagues, playing a key role in building a best in class commercial Finance function You will develop and improve new systems, controls and ways of working as well as building strong relationships with all teams across the business.

This is a truly commercial role and we need to find a candidate with genuine gravitas who can support the demands of a high-performing leadership team in a young company.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Responsible for all Revenue and performance analysis of the business across the UK and Europe
  • Cost reporting and analysis
  • Supporting all key commercial decision making within the group
  • Capital reporting, forecasting and analysis
  • Monthly management reporting (includes Financial Performance Review Pack, ALCO Pack, CFO Reports)
  • Lead the building of a class-leading MI framework
  • Ad-hoc business case analysis and interrogation
  • Commercial business partnering and ad hoc analysis to enable optimal business decision making
  • Lots of ad-hoc decision support analysis and Business Partnering to senior stakeholders in the business

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years’ experience within FP&A / Finance Business Partnering.
  • Financial Services experience is essential, preferably banking or wealth management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to articulate the drivers of financial performance to business stakeholders (‘tell the story’)
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to optimise performance / harness opportunities / mitigate risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
