As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll provide financial assistance for UK & ROI Optics, working with the marketing department to provide insight and analysis on the performance of marketing activity and spending. You’ll look after the marketing spend across optics, working with key budget holders to understand the return on investment and key variances to budget, providing insights to drive performance. You’ll work alongside the product Finance Business Partner’s in the Finance team to prepare a monthly reporting pack for the trading director, providing the necessary insights on the performance.

You’ll business partner with the Heads of the marketing departments to understand financial performance and impacts on overall performance while assisting with ad-hoc insights on the performance of marketing activity on trading performance and any customer insight. You’ll support with modelling the financial impact of marketing activity on trading performance, reviewing the performance of such activity in trial and/or post-implementation. Prepare and review marketing business cases related to marketing activity.

You’ll bring a ton of knowledge from your solid background working in finance and business partnering, have commercial awareness, be ACCA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, and take a proactive and forward approach. Can build positive relationships through effective communication by adapting information to a non-financial audience. You’ll be an expert in using Excel, ideally with some experience using PowerBI or SQL, be able to manipulate data sets and look out for a broader perspective when business modelling to consider the wider impacts for the business.
