Robertson Bell are pleased to be partnering with growing public sector organisation who are seeking a Finance Business Partner and Reporting Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Leading a highly successful team of three, you will take ownership of leading the management accounting and finance business partnering for the organisation as well as providing crucial support to the wider team with statutory reporting.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner and Reporting Manager include:

• Coordinate the annual budget setting and review process, ensuring that the team work to gather all required information from budget holders and challenging the data to provide robust financial management.
• Oversee the production of management accounts by your team, ensuring that supporting commentary and variance analysis provides insightful analysis of the financial performance of the team.
• Responsible for consolidating the management accounts for the organisation.
• Support the production of financial statements, working closely with the Head of Finance to provide supporting schedules and accurate evidence to the auditors.
• Lead a team of three, providing support and training where needed, and holding regular 1:1’s.

The successful candidate will be:

• Ideally a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/equivalent).
• Experienced in managing a team.
• Able to demonstrate strong track record of producing annual budgets and providing an effective business partnering function.
• A proactive and diligent individual who is keen to learn.
