Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join our client, a leading global banking group based in London.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts and submission to the Executive Committee
- Analysis of costs and investigation of any variances to budget together with appropriate monthly commentary/analysis for senior management
- Reviewing the allocation of costs from back office functions to front office functions
- Providing finance support to key divisional heads and other business managers
- Assisting in the annual budget cycle and half-yearly re-forecast
- Supporting the Head in pursuing the Finance department's operating strategy including process improvement and projects
To be considered you must have the following attributes/skills:
- Qualified accountant with management accounting and reporting experience (ideally with financial services)
- Strong systems knowledge including MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with senior management across the business
