My client is a dynamic consultancy firm based Avon, with a team of 30 dedicated professionals. Our consultancy specializes in delivering tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate complex challenges and achieve their business goals. We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Director to join our team on a part-time basis to steer our financial strategy and operations.

The Role:
As our Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial health. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide strategic financial guidance, ensuring the long-term sustainability and profitability of the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the company's objectives.
  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Mentor and support the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in the consultancy sector is a plus.
