Job Description

  • Lead and mentor the crew payroll accounting team, including the Junior Accounts Administrator and Administration Team.
  • Ensure compliance with social security and tax obligations, liaising with authorities as needed.
  • Oversee the reconciliation process, manage VAT and VAT returns, and handle internal accounting for Oceanskies Support Services Limited.
  • Compile monthly reconciliation status reports for Board meetings and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Establish clear goals and deadlines, fostering a culture of superior accounting service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and numeracy skills with a keen attention to detail. They will demonstrate effective team management and motivational abilities, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should be capable of working quickly and accurately under pressure, using their initiative to meet deadlines and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations. An ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
