Finance Manager - UK SME Bank

Are you a seasoned finance professional looking to take your career to new heights? Trace is searching for a dynamic and experienced individual to step into a key role at a prominent UK SME Bank. If you are passionate about finance, compliance, and strategic planning, this opportunity is tailor-made for you!

Salary: £65k - £75k + Bonus + Benefits

Location: London City - 2/3 day per week - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Directly report to the CFO, providing critical support.
  • Assist in developing finance, IFRS, regulatory, and tax policies.
  • Manage both external and internal audits, ensuring compliance and maintaining integrity.
  • Lead efforts in product control and regulatory reporting.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant with over 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking, focusing on finance and regulatory functions.
  • Understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP and regulatory standards
  • Familiarity with treasury and Banking products (Product Control)
