Here at Yourconstruction we are delighted to be looking for a Finance Manger for an Engineering Company in Manchester.
Hours: Mon- Friday 9-5
Salary: 40k Negotiable
Key Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department which have approx. 4 team members: including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Communication of management accounts to management team
- VAT/PAYE returns/reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- Ensure strong financial controls are in place and embedded
- Review and automate processes and procedures where necessary
- Year-end process liaising with external auditors and production of financial report
- Oversee our IT provision
- Management of vehicle fleet
Requirements:Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
Experience in a finance management role, preferably in an engineering environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
