Select is seeking to recruit a high calibre Finance Manager who will oversee the management accounting reporting for Select as well as lead within one or more Select Divisions. This role is an opportunity to join a progressive company and will offer the right candidate a range of career options. It will involve exposure to the business unit director, division leader, central finance, commercial & operational staff across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a finance team of 3 people with a strong focus on supporting the team's career development and system development.
  • Responsible for producing Capital Expenditure investment appraisals for the Specialist Trading Business Group (STBG) on assets and preparing business cases.
  • Perform scenario analysis and financial modelling including annual impairment reviews for Select.
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for division(s).
  • Presentation of divisional financials at monthly contract reviews.
  • Business partner with divisional leader to drive divisional performance.
  • Promote financial understanding, controls and diligence across the relevant Select divisions, through interaction with non-finance staff on issues such as cash management and asset controls.
  • Own divisional fixed asset register ensuring assets are accurately recorded, depreciated, and physically controlled.
  • COINS Super User Administration, System Maintenance & Testing for upgrade.
  • Adhoc Project Work.

Key Skills

  • Fully qualified Accountant.
  • Commercial acumen, with experience at working across businesses / disciplines.
  • Performance management and measurement, and business case preparation.
  • Strong Excel skills.
