Now is a really exciting time for the business, and they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team.Job DescriptionFinance Manager responsibilities include:Monitor and maintain Sage accounting system ensuring compliance and accuracyMonitor and maintain Purchase Order Control systemAnnual budget creation alongside management teamMonth end and Year end closedown in SageGeneral Ledger reconciliationsBalance Sheet ReconciliationsCashbook and credit card reconciliationsPurchase ledger management and reconciliationSales ledger management and reconciliation - ensuring effective debt management takes placeMonthly financial and management accounts productionMonthly Job costing reporting to managementCashflow reporting, monitoring and weekly cashflow meeting attendanceLiaison with external accountants for year-end statutory accounts productionReconcile and submit Quarterly VAT returnsWeekly and monthly payroll liaison with external payroll bureauManage company pension schemeAny other duties as required by managementThe Successful ApplicantThe candidate will have:Experience within a similar role - RequiredFully AAT qualified or qualified by experience - RequiredStrong working knowledge of SAGE - RequiredExcellent communication skills both written and verbal - RequiredAbility to work to their own initiative to drive improvements - RequiredGood leadership skills - RequiredAbility to develop and maintain strong working relationships - RequiredStrong working knowledge of MS Excel - RequiredWhat's on OfferThis role will offer a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, as well as benefits including: flexible working, career progression prospects, study support if desired, free on-site parking, holidays increasing with service, company pension scheme, work social events + more!
