We have a fantastic opportunity to join Santander as a Finance MI Analyst working as a part of the Corporate MI Data team providing accurate and timely data to all our stakeholders.

The difference you'll make:
- Supporting the delivery of monthly CCB balance sheet and income reporting for use across the Finance department and other areas of the bank
- Providing meaningful data to allow constructive business decisions to be made
- Identifying best practices and helping to improve existing reporting where possible, making them timelier and more efficient
- Working in an ever-changing environment and adapting CCB data outputs to meet the latest business needs
- Supporting with monthly management review packs and provision of business focused management information
- Proven experience in data interpretation and manipulation skills
- Excellent in the use of core financial software - Excel, Essbase, Word, PowerPoint and other packages
- Ability to understand the underlying financial systems, data characteristics and communicate this as needed to a range of audience
- Experience of SQL and VBA would be useful but not essential
- Knowledge/awareness of big data platforms such MicroStrategy, Power BI and SAS
- A good understanding of the financial services industry and the type of products offered

This permanent role is based in Manchester, and you will be expected to spend five days per month of your time in this office.
