Central Employment is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity with one of our esteemed manufacturing clients based in Chorley. We are currently recruiting for a Finance Supervisor to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring precise documentation of daily transactions
- Verifying the accuracy of processed purchase invoices
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision
- Maintaining precise records of inventory movements in and out of stock
- Enforcing stringent cash handling procedures and controls
- Updating internal systems as necessary
- Guaranteeing timely completion of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Evaluating and implementing local financial procedures as needed
- Supervising and nurturing the professional growth of direct reports
Requirements:
- Substantial work experience as an office accountant, coupled with managerial responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in people management
- Proficiency in financial and accounting procedures
- Hands-on experience with financial software applications
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
- Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical and numerical capabilities
- High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
