Finance Systems Manager

London – hybrid working model

Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months day rate contract as a Finance Systems Manager. The Finance Systems Manager will own and manage the day-to-day operations of the financial systems and tools. The Finance Systems Manager will also work closely with the wider finance team and business to enhance the utilization of systems and tools, including processes and configuration to contribute and deliver a range of system improvement initiatives. The Finance Systems Manager role will be based in London on a hybrid working model, 2 days a week in the office and 3 days remote.

What will you be doing?

  1. Own and manage (directly or indirectly) a variety of Finance Systems (Planning, ERP, BlackLine, Purchase Orders, iValua).
  2. Provide excellent support to finance colleagues and the wider business for business-related queries.
  3. Manage Finance Master Data and related processes.
  4. Key Finance link to wider DCC Operational and Strategic master data.
  5. Support the finance team with the delivery of all financial reporting deadlines by assisting with report writing and system interrogation queries.
  6. Develop and introduce automatic data integration between finance systems.
  7. Work with the Finance Team to ensure that all processes are well documented and roll out, monitor and enforce compliance with system processes.
  8. Be a Subject Matter Expert and assist the Finance Transformation Team with all aspects of finance system and tool-related projects.

What are we looking for?

  1. Extensive experience in a similar role, can evidence running SAP BPC systems, tailoring and enhancing them.
  2. Comfortable with SAP ERP, ability to run reports from SAP and have a working level of understanding on back-end SAP configuration.
  3. Experience in using VBA and excellent Excel skills.
  4. Proven experience of managing multiple deliverables to tight deadlines.
  5. Good understanding of process management, including documentation, design, and implementation.
  6. Experience/exposure to accounting and forecasting activities with a strong aptitude for numbers & accuracy.
  7. Project management skills and line management experience.
