Finance Systems Manager – Workday Financials
London based – Hybrid
Up to £100,000 per annum

Finatal are supporting a PE backed SAAS business in their search for a Finance Systems Manager based in London.
The Finance Systems Manager will take ownership of their finance systems landscape post go live of Workday Financials and lead the implementation into BAU.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Finance Systems landscape strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives, scalability and the application of effective architecture standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes
- Oversee the testing and validation of financial systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and security.
- Monitor the performance of financial systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and optimize system efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to finance teams and end-users, addressing system-related queries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve functionality and meet evolving business needs.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within financial systems, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
- Serve as a liaison between finance and IT departments, facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative working environment.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate finance teams and end-users on the use of financial systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system manuals, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure system accessibility.
Required experience to be considered for this opportunity:
- Proficiency in Workday Financials systems applications
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, network security and data privacy principles, with experience implementing and maintain IT controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and finance users
