About the role:

We have a great opportunity within our Accounting and Tax team in Birmingham as a Financial Accountant. This role is required to work within the Accounting and Tax team, assisting with the preparation of Group financial accounts for both month end reporting and the year-end audit.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is qualified ACA/ACCA with an audit/tax background. You will have strong experience in financial reporting, accounting and tax demonstrating good data analysis skills. Within this position you will need to be competent with Microsoft Office, inclusive of high level user experience with Microsoft Excel. Effective communication skills is a key requirement for this position as you will be required to communicate successfully across all levels within the business adapting your style where necessary.

Preferable Skills:

  • Practice management system - Aderant Expert (preferable but not essential)
  • Budgeting and forecasting system - TM1 (preferable but not essential)
