We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified Financial Accountant with a passion for their field to join our dynamic and collaborative UK finance team.You will be responsible for a broad range of duties including month-end reporting and providing business support, whilst ensuring that the strong financial control environment is maintained. What You'll Do:Support the Finance Manager and Financial Controller in producing monthly Financial Statements including:Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments, including liaising with business stakeholdersReview and maintenance of fixed asset registersPreparation of intercompany entriesPreparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssist in the production of monthly and quarterly performance reporting by providing variance analysis on your areas of responsibilityEnsuring that the documented internal controls are followed to safeguard the continued strong internal control environment, including identifying potential efficiencies and areas of developmentSupporting the annual audit process, including working with the external auditorsVAT return preparationOther duties as requested by the Finance Manager/Financial Controller including cover during periods of high-workloads and absences.What You'll Bring: Team player with a positive, personable attitude, who wants to work in a growing and dynamic environment.Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)Experienced in month-end close to tight deadlinesKnowledge of US GAAP and IFRSStrong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and deliver high quality workStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailWhat We Bring:We are Mimecasters.
