Our client is a leading company based in Birmingham, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial documents.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial information is accurate.
  • Oversee audits and work closely with external auditors.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
  • Stay up to date with financial regulations and ensure compliance.



Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
