Position Summary

Summary

Financial Analyst will be reporting to an Accounting Supervisor. Role is of the Loughborough and Shepshed Group Finance Team based in Shepshed. Global Division with sites Loughborough, Shepshed, Stevenage, McMinnville (US) and Xiamen (China). Division turnover £110m.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Check bank account post all SAP payments.

• Balance cash estimate to Syspro and statements.

• Print and check supplier statements to Syspro accounts.

• Check status of all new invoices; process those that are complete and register those that cannot be cleared.

• Print and check supplier statements to Syspro accounts.

• Scan down completed documents and save them in the shared drive.

• Chase through issues on registered invoices either by email or phone: main contacts inspection; goods in and procurement.

• Update Parked Invoices Excel spreadsheet.

• Follow up on FSSC AP queries on stop ETC SAP.

• Review aged creditors and write off any old balances no longer required.

• Check all bank accounts on cbk/gl agree to actual bank statements.

• Save a copy of Bank Statements as at the month end date.

• Cashbook balances listing Report and reconciliation Statement Report.

• Run Syspro AP/AR/CBK tax reports: save also as PDF's in reports folder.

• Gas & Electric accrual from meter readings.

• IC CIT - Statements - Feedback Journal CIT.

• Revenue recognition cut off.

• BS Payroll accounts rec and headcount reconciliation.

• Calculate & post payroll accrual.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience within Aerospace or other High Technology industry would be an asset, minimum 2 years of experience in a Finance role within manufacturing environment.

• Focused, committed with ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Capable of driving projects through to completion.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels internally and externally.

• Computer literacy including competence in Microsoft Excel, PowerP oint Word SAP and Syspro.

• Creative with ability to think outside the box - excellent problem solving skills.
