About the Role

The UKI Financial Controls team ensures timely and accurate reporting of the UKI P&L and Balance Sheet and provides insight about regional developments.

Responsibilities

  • Key direct report to Group Financial Controller
  • Management of a team of 8
  • Execute reorganization of the team following various acquisitions
  • Ownership of UKI P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Support UKI audit process
  • Ensure Group accounting guidance is followed
  • Support of various ongoing projects
  • Drive operational improvements in respect of revenue recognition and purchase to pay

Qualifications

  • >5 years post qualified experience
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Track record of implementing strong financial controls
  • Understanding of lead to cash, record to report and purchase to pay processes.
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or comparable
