Enghouse Interactive is currently looking for an FP&A Analyst for our finance team. This position will be based in Reading, UK.

About the role and what you will be doing:

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the principal purpose of the role is to provide information and analysis to help the EMEA business achieve the best decisions for the continued growth and success of Enghouse in this region. Such information is required to support multiple stakeholders, such as Managing Directors, Operations Managers, Senior Management, and Corporate and EMEA Finance. Reflecting the global nature of Enghouse, there is a requirement to work closely with colleagues in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities and accountabilities

  • A key source for the business to enable understanding of the business through financial and non-financial information.
  • Revenue, margin, and cost analysis
  • Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
  • Manipulation of databases to create insights and further useful information.
  • Profitability and performance analysis through multiple lenses (product line, customer, location, product groupings, departmental)
  • Extraction of non-financial information
  • Establishment and monitoring of key metrics
  • Graphical analysis
  • Financial modeling –development of new models to assist in forecasting and interpretation of results.
  • Extraction and manipulation of data from financial systems
  • Channel for interpreting corporate direction and strategies at the local level to ensure implementation.
  • Custodian of corporate assets at the local level
  • Ad–hoc financial and management projects

Key qualifications, skills, and knowledge

  • Finance professional with international outlook/exposure, experienced in performance analysis. Experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role. Good English Language skills – both oral and written.
  • Expert spreadsheet (Advanced Excel), PowerPoint, and presentation skills, plus experience in developing reports and analyses from Business Analytical tools (Business Objects or similar)
  • Problem-solving skills, using reasoned assumptions and a creative thought process to create powerful insights and illustrate them in a clear, concise manner.
  • Able to engage confidently and effectively at all levels of the organization, including an awareness of cultural and linguistic differences.
