Job Description
A fantastic role for a FP&A Manager has arisen to join a PLC listed company based in Maidenhead. As a FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Group's financial strategic planning. This role offers excellent progression opportunities and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Group Planning and Strategic team.
- Challenge, highlight and investigate areas of opportunity for strategic recommendations; identify emerging themes to drive future value opportunities.
- Drive the preparation of financial information for external Investor reporting.
- Support the month-end process and reporting, perform variance analysis on performance against Group plan.
- Manage a small team to support growth, learning and development.
- Drive continuous improvement across Group FP&A processes.
- Partner with Group FP&A Reporting and Analytics, Group Financial Control and Divisional Finance.
- Develop strategic partnership with CFO and Director of Group FP&A.
- Lead and manage Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process and outputs including annual budgeting, forecasting and planning.
- Own the strategic planning model; leverage business insights, scenario modelling and analysis to develop financial models and drive commercial decision-making.
- Lead capital allocation/investment process, consolidation, reporting and ROI analysis.
- Support the Corporate Director with M&A activity.
- Identify and evaluate potential target companies.
- Support financial due diligence efforts in potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Project manage the financial integration of acquisitions working as a liaison between acquisition sponsor, Group finance and operational finance functions.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA with 2 years PQE.
- 3-5 years FP&A or finance business partnering experience, with a track record of managing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and able to lead by example.
- Experience in data modelling, and simplifying complex data.
- Commercial mindset with an ability to influence senior stakeholders.
