FIRAS Supervisor

As a
FIRAS Supervisor
you will be expected:
To manage project and contracts from initial enquiry through to job completion.
To manage staff to ensure compliance and efficiencies in quality service delivery of services.
Work directly with the MD and HSQ manager to structure the culture of the company and ensure high levels of installations and health and safety compliance.
To attend sites and carry out scoping to visits quote for tenders / projects for passive fire projects.
To compile plan of works, method statement and risk assessment in line with industry latest legislation, company procedures and policies.
To ensure all staff conduct their duties in line with the regulatory requirements and are given instruction to deliver high quality works while safely carry out their works.
Commit to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.
Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
To be successful in a
FIRAS Supervisor
role, the skills you will need
:
NVQ Level 2 Qualification
Driving Licence.
Experienced in the role and duties of a FIRAS supervisor and working supervisor.
Demonstrate and provide evidence of an effective approach to customer care and quality service delivery.
Good knowledge of current H&S and fire regulations.
Ability to deal with technical passive fire and installation issues when arise from site teams.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in use of tablet or PDA.
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
Level 3 First Aid.
Compiling method statements, risk assessments in line with statutory guidelines.
