Job title: Fire Alarm Project Engineer Location: London Salary: Up to £50,000 Package Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? Future Build Recruitment is working with a leading company seeking talented individuals to join their team and work on high-value projects between £50k and £1M in and around London. If you have experience in the residential sector dealing with fire alarm installations, this role offers the opportunity to enhance your skills and make a significant impact. If you're passionate about fire safety and want to be part of a forward-thinking company, this could be the perfect role for you Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage fire alarm installation projects from inception to completion. Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints. Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and safety records. Lead and mentor junior engineers and installation teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Qualifications: In-depth experience in fire alarm installation and associated equipment, including addressable, conventional, and 2-wire systems. Commissioning experience. Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required. Up-to-date with current standard BS5839 Pt 1 & Pt 6 is desired. FIA qualification is desired but not essential. ECS / JIB Gold Card desirable. Experience with Ziton, Kentec, Morley, and Aico Part 6 systems. Full UK Clean Driving License. A good level of IT literacy. Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
