We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Technician offering the following benefits; Excellent rates of pay between £25,000 to £37,000 DOE Can earn up to £4,000 via call out, travel and overtime paid in addition to salary 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Up to an additional 3 days' holiday via salary sacrifice Private medical insurance Company Vehicle with personal use Sick pay Attendance bonus scheme Full uniform Company Pension Scheme A long-term permanent position with the opportunity for career development Great team Pleasant working environment Hours of work are 40 hours per week In line with growth plans and their continued success and expansion, several opportunities have arisen for fully experienced, multi-disciplined fire and security technicians working out of their headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire or their local office in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire. Primarily, the work is based throughout the North West, however you will be expected to travel further afield when required. Reporting directly to our management team, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking and have a strong customer focus. Ideal candidate requirements: 2-5+ years experience with Electronic Security and/or Life Safety Systems with an NSI Gold accredited company Extremely competent with the installation and commissioning of all types of Fire and/or Security Systems including Remote Monitoring Be able to carry out maintenance and fault finding to a high level on all system types Successfully meet security screening requirements to BS7858:2009, DBS and Police check A High level of knowledge working on manufacturers such as but not limited to: Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, Videx, C-Tec , Advanced, Morley, Hikvision, Hanwa & Avigilon Sound knowledge of IT, Networking, Electrical and Electronic principles Availability to be included within the company's 24-hour call-out rota Additional Requirements / Skills: Be self-managed and able to work under your own initiative whilst still being a good team player Good judgement and the ability to make rational decisions in limited timescales Managing your vehicle stock control Always adhering to and working responsibly in line with the company H&S Policy Completion of audit paperwork and job sheets, both manually and electronically Be reliable, organised, hardworking and have good planning skills Clean Driving Licence Adherence to all company policies and procedures To act as a company ambassador Maintaining/developing good relations with both clients and colleagues
