About the role

We are looking for aFleet Event & Marketing Executiveto be part of our Marketing team, based in Hounslow BYD London Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the UK Marketing/Events team and the UK Fleet team to develop an annual events schedule identifying key events that BYD B2B should participate in to maximise brand exposure and deliver test drives and sales
  • Work with UK events agency to brief, design, plan and deliver B2B events including stand design, cars, event materials, uniform and merchandise.
  • Ensure all events are delivered to the highest possible quality and adhere to BYD brand standards
  • Support National Fleet Sales Managers with brand presentations at key Fleet Customer premises – e.g. test drive sessions / brand presentations at FN50 clients.
  • Where relevant, for key Fleet events work with the digital team to design and deliver a content plan aligned to the B2B audience.
  • Work with members of the marketing team to ensure that BYD B2B events are promoted and marketed to ensure maximum attendance and exposure
  • Leverage existing National Event plans – e.g. Goodwood / Motorshows etc towards a fleet audience (where appropriate)
  • Ensure specific customer journey defined and implemented for each event
  • Help manage Brand Ambassador performance at B2B events.

Performance:

  • Support budget control for each event and work with the UK team to ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Develop and agree KPIs ahead of each event and measure performance versus these:
  • Monitor of visitors to B2B events and report on ROIBooth visitors (software to be investigated) including leads collected and test drives

Key results:

  • Brand Awareness leading to increase in B2B sales
  • Funnel metrics specific to events: Booth visitors / Leads / Test Drives / Sales
  • Budget adherence
  • Fleet team feedback

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Experience of working in a busy environment under both their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience of managing events with demonstration of strong project management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage several different tasks at once, determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands.
  • Able to manage budgets.
  • Experience in managing the relationship with and performance of external suppliers.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, approachable manner alongside excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Able to work under high levels of pressure.
  • Knowledge of technological developments that could be used for registration, delegate interaction, feedback etc.
  • Has right-to-work in the UK.
