Fleet Insurance Account Handler

Salary: £30,000 to 35,000 per annum, negotiable

Location: Romford, Essex

Working within this Niche Insurer dealing with Motor Trade and Fleet Insurances

Responsibilities:

• You will be dealing with account queries and mid-term adjustments in line with agreed delegated underwriting authority guidelines along with some new business processes,
• You will underwrite / generate terms ensuring they are presented to account executives in a timely manner whilst achieving the necessary rate increases that insurers require,
• You will deal with account executive and colleagues queries by phone and emails within agreed authority limits,
• You will be comfortable liaising with insurers and colleagues, dealing with various enquiries that may include understanding & assessing risks and reviewing quotations whilst ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines under the Delegated Authority schemes,
• You will be responsible for ensuring that the paper files and system records are created for new.
  and existing business and updated following all client contact,
• You will share responsibility for dealing with any actions attaching to existing clients on mid-term adjustments and claims and will liaise with the other Account Handlers and Account Executives to ensure that service standards are maintained,
• You will be required to respond to enquiries from clients received by phone, letter, or e-mail in a courteous, helpful manner and ensure that all information required by clients is obtained and communicated,
• Oversee surveys and risk improvements to ensure these are completed within the necessary timescales.
• You will be required to be organised with your work allocation and prioritise where necessary whilst regularly reporting to your team manager,
• You will adhere to compliance and regulatory procedures.
