Our client based in Lincoln is a manufacturer of metal components, and they are expanding their team seeking a skilled Forge Operator to join them. This is a full-time, permanent position to work on the night shift – training however will be completed on a 2 shift pattern. Competative salary based on experience. –Programming and Modification: Input and adjust computer control programs to ensure optimal production–Tool and Die Preparation: Organise storage, heat dies, and prepare tools for seamless production–Hands-on Production Support: Perform essential tasks such as fettling, billet painting and, shot blasting.–Tool Maintenance: Carry out repairs to dies and tools during production to maintain smooth operations–Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet customer specifications by checking dimensions against process sheets and sketches–Inspection and Documentation: Undertake forge inspections and accurately record part and serial numbersWhat we’re looking for:–Heavy Industry Experience: Previous experience in heavy industry, including heavy machinery and FLTs, is essential.–Quality and Safety Mindset: A strong focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.–Flexibility: A versatile approach to duties and willingness to work night shifts, adapting to production needs.–Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the team.If you are passionate about working in a dynamic environment and contributing to the success of a global leader – then please send your cv to alexandra.smith@rrgroup.co.uk or call Alexandra on 01522848333.Reflect Recruitment Group are operating as Employment Agency under the Employment Agencies Act 1973.
