Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to primary/secondary school students
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with varying proficiency levels
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular formative and summative assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate their progress to parents and guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with current educational practices
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in French and Spanish
- Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a primary/secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the French and Spanish language, culture, and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create differentiated lesson plans to meet the individual needs of diverse learners
- Demonstrated understanding of current educational practices and the ability to incorporate technology in the classroom
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in the teaching profession
