The Wave is a slice of the ocean inland, where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can experience the joy of blue health and its many physical and mental health benefits. Our F&B area can seat 300+ guests (inside and out) and is a high-volume operation. We feed and water super hungry surfers, our guests staying at The Camp, and spectators who come to hang out in our amazing venue.

As a Front of House Team Leader, you will assist in the running of our F&B team that gives an amazing customer experience & is always safe, secure & legal.
Our Team Leaders:
Plan and lead the shift so that everyone is performing at their best throughout the day to enhance our guest experience
Ensure necessary information is communicated to your team from the department manager
Execute scheduled small group booking events
Work in all sections, as and when necessary, from the bar to the back of house
Are knowledgeable about the great products we sell and serve them with confidence
Champion and role model the highest levels of service to the team
Support the F&B Manager to deliver the departmental objectives and carry out admin tasks
Assist the F&B Supervisor to train and develop level 1 & 2 FOH team members
Our ideal wavemaker will have great people skills, a desire to ‘muck in’ and champion and role model the highest levels of service and adherence to health and safety.

This is a 32 hour, fixed term position which will run to the end of November. There may be a possibility to extend into the winter season.
Our Higher wage will take effect from 1st April 2023.
