Front Office IT Business Analyst, Investment Management c£75k (neg) + bonus + benefits

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Business Analyst with demonstrable “buy-side” experience sitting alongside Traders on the front desk within the Investment Management / Fund Management / Buy-side environments to join one of the leading UK and International Investment Management firms at an exciting time in their growth!

Responsibilities:

1. Build and support the future state trading infrastructure and platform, supporting all asset classes traded globally.
2. Collaborate with global teammates and business partners to define scope, document requirements, write and ensure the execution of test cases, configure solutions and demonstrate new functionality.
3. Deliver best in class trading solutions to traders and trading quantitative researchers.

Qualifications:

1. Proficient in Agile project methodology.
2. Good skills in data analysis, data aggregation and modeling with expert level experience in SQL.
3. Any exposure to Python, OneTick, R or Java is helpful (though not essential).
4. Experience working with Charles River or similar systems/platforms is advantageous.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Robust, diplomatic, and confident personality to effectively work alongside Traders and technical developer team mates.

Based out of their Thames Valley offices in the Home Counties, there will also be some travel domestically and internationally, so we are looking for a candidate prepared to do both.

Salary: c£75k (negotiable) + bonus + extensive benefits or maybe more for the right candidate – we’re flexible!
