Job Title: Front End / UI Developer

Job Location: Nottingham (Remote)

Rate: Circa £60k

As a UI / Front End Developer, you’ll be instrumental in the development of products and solutions that drive the delivery and implementation of projects and Digital / business change into the business.

Job Role:

Implementing new software programs.

Designing effective user interfaces for internal and external facing IT solutions.

Supporting the long term programme of useability and UI changes.

Recommending and executing improvements.

Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software.

Creating technical level documentation.

Modifying existing software to fix errors or improve quality.

Working as part of Scrum team and providing regular updates.

Duties:

To be successful in the UI / Front End Developer role, you need to have experience of:

  • Core (6.0 or higher)
  • .NET Core
  • ES6, CSS, HTML
  • Driven Development (using NUnit and Moq)
  • API/Web Service, REST and JSON
  • Development and Deployment processes
  • control (GIT) (or equivalent)

As well as ideally experience of:

Azure DevOps sprint management (or equivalent), boards, pipelines, releases, artifacts

Microsoft Azure (including Function Apps, Application Insights, Table Storage, App Services, Azure SQL).

SQL (including ability to troubleshoot performance issues with queries)

Automated testing processes (with good analysing skills to find and solve problems)

Understanding of Entity Framework

Experience with chat bot services

Scrum development lifecycle.
