Working Set-Up: Hybrid 3 (office) + 2 (home), with flexibility as tenure increases
Compensation: £35,000k - £45,000k + benefits, based on experience

Summary:
CoComply seeks an experienced full stack engineer with extensive experience with Laravel 10+, Vue 3 and AWS. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and seeking a challenge to join an early-stage business focused on building the future in the legaltech space. We’re a small dynamic team and the role involves developing, maintaining, and optimising our critical web application and SaaS platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.The candidate should possess a deep understanding of modern web development technologies and practices as well as excellent soft skills.Responsibilities:
- Contribute in a founding team of software engineers on new product developments, converting designs and business requirements into a live product promptly.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel 10+, Vue 3 and other web technologies.
- Optimise applications for enhanced UX and scalability.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience building applications from the ground up.
- Demonstrable experience working with Laravel and Vue.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of front-end frameworks (Vue.js) and templating engines (Blade/Statamic).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Experience with writing automated tests
- Ability to write efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Nice to haves:
- A background in lawtech/legaltech
- Programming in Python
- Experience working with, or a strong interest in AI / ML / LLMs / RAG Techniques
- Knowledge of Docker, containersation and Serverless technologies.
- AWS Certification is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years or more as a full stack engineer working with Laravel, Vue.js and AWS is required.
