Inclusion, as a core value of our firm, is rooted in the oldest traditions of the law’s commitment to equal status and standing. It is also an economic imperative to provide the best and most innovative solutions for clients, and we need teams that draw on a diversity of thought and experience.
Our Inclusion team aims to design and deliver an innovative, targeted and tailored inclusion program.

Clifford Chance believes delivering inclusion requires a campaigning approach. Inclusion is more than a set of rules, it is a major social change in how we approach our lives and work. Delivering such a social change requires us to see it as a permanent campaign – a campaign that has a goal but there is no finish line, the commitment will always be needed.

We aim to provide campaigns that inspire, empower and activate people. A campaign approach that sees each of us as the solution not the barrier to inclusion.

Clifford Chance's goal is to be the global law firm of choice, always leading and shaping the legal sector and beyond. That is the standard we seek to reflect and achieve on our inclusion goals.

Our Inclusion team throughout the global network has led a number of successful initiatives, introducing global Inclusion targets, reverse mentoring, a range of global inclusion campaigns, collaborative affinity group events and extensive pro bono and community work. Our thriving global affinity groups play an important role in executing our Inclusion strategy, influencing management and engaging colleagues.
