Description of Job

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual with good people skills to join our team as our Fundraising and Events Manager. Getting the right person (or people) for this role is important to us and so we have built as much flexibility as we can into the package. This is an exciting time for the Navigators UK as we look to significantly develop our work by mobilising a network of both formal Representatives of the organisation and everyday people who share our calling.Equipping and mobilising this growing movement means that we are having to increase our central staff team as we step up our communications, events and fundraising work.

We have therefore created this new post for a manager whose job will be to look at increasing our fundraising and managing our events. Getting the right person for this role is really important to us. Our preference is for a full-time candidate working fully or hybrid from the Southampton Office, however, we are willing to consider applications from exceptional candidates who would only be able to take the post working fully remotely or who are interested in working part time (at least 20 hours per week) with a focus on either the fundraising or events aspects of this role. In all cases being able to travel is essential.

In return we offer a competitive salary of £31-35,000 per annum, an 8% employer’s pension contribution, 33 days paid holiday rising to 38 after five years employment (including UK Bank holidays), and a great team to work with.
