Role Summary

To support the garment technologists in their daily role in the development process of the product life cycle from design concept to production. This is an administrative role, but with hands on experience, ensuring quality of product is achieved. Responsible for ensuring all systems are up to date to ensure product is compliant and allow publication on our website.

Role Responsibilities

Establish working relationships with product teams & suppliers to drive quality for the brand.

  • Attending fit sessions when required by Garment technologist.
  • Maintaining workbook admin, downloading pictures & sending across comments to suppliers following fit session
  • Chase wash cares / Reach / test reports from suppliers & agree approvals with garment technologist.
  • Review test reports against each standard and file passing reports
  • Check pre-shipment samples for Reach / paperwork / washcare / test reports.
  • Provide wash care & fibre composition information for the catalogue / web and internal systems
  • Co-ordinate wearer trial programmes
  • Support across department where necessary.
  • Support garment technologists on weekly reports including fit and returns reports, analysing online feedback on product.
  • General admin duties, critical path management, planning and organisation.


Skills and Experience

  • A level standard of education
  • Competent in Outlook / Microsoft office
  • An interest in Fashion & textiles / technical / construction or similar
  • Knowledge of the garment / manufacturing industry an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written. Ability to present information to others in a clear manner.
  • Good planning and organisation skills. Ability to adapt effectively to manage a busy schedule
  • To play an active part in supporting any team situation, showing the ability to pro-actively take part
  • To demonstrate the ability to work using one's initiative
  • A logical passionate, team player with a keen eye for detail.


Role Competencies

  • Knowledge of company's vision, culture and passion within the business focus.
  • Basic knowledge of terminology used in the industry
  • Basic knowledge of different product types
  • Experience of working within a busy role with the ability to multitask
  • Strong Admin skills & accuracy
  • Good listener who is confident to ask questions if unclear
