Lilium Homes Ltd is a small building contractor, predominantly focused on bespoke new builds, extensions and high-end contemporary refurbishments in traditional buildings. We have a small, very committed team of 7 in-house trades and 3 front-office staff, as well as a long established relationships with a number of experienced sub-contractors within the Scottish construction sector. We are looking to expand our team further with a highly motivated joiner with experience in all aspects of house-building.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Builder/Joiners for works located in Glasgow and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include performing construction and carpentry tasks such as demolition works, temporary works, building kit structures, installing fixtures and fittings, restoration and and renovating buildings. You will lead a small team of joiners/labourer and sub-contractors, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. You will be responsible for all H&S and RAMS on site for your projects. You will be responsible for planning your project in terms of work methods and materials and you will work alongside the Project Manager to ensure all trades and sub-contractor activities are well planned. You will report directly into Lilium Home's Site Trades Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Builder/Joiner or in a similar role
• Knowledge of construction and carpentry techniques
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications or licenses or relevant experience
• Gold or Black CSCS card
