General Manager - London's Latest Premium Office & Retail Asset
Are you an experienced General Manager/Estate Director, with the right skillset to manage a premium London asset?
MRG is working exclusively with JLL, who are curating the vision behind London’s new development, 20-22 Ropemaker. Comprising c.440,000 sq ft, of grade A office, retail and SME space over 27 storeys, this BREEAM ‘outstanding’ development is a sustainable workspace of the highest standard.
Due to internal movement within the senior leadership team, the opportunity for a skilled General Manager to step into the position has become available. Holding key responsibility for the delivery of all landlord operations and ensuring that these services accord with the best practice standards, the General Manager will be JLL’s and the building owners’ ‘ambassador’ and must maintain and promote the property’s service delivery and position in the locality as best in class for occupiers to work in.
In addition to working alongside the JLL Team, the GM will have a close working relationship with the Client and senior representatives of the building tenants, acting as the lead for the Client in all matters relating to the operation at the property.
To be the successful candidate:
- You must be an outstanding leader, capable of building, growing, and getting the most out of multi-disciplinary teams, in order to deliver service excellence.
- You should have experience of managing post completion works in new developments, defects periods and major fit out projects.
- You should be familiar with the operation of heating, ventilating, mechanical and electrical equipment within previous roles, and have a sound understanding of the purpose and general working of such equipment.
- You should have strong stakeholder relationship building skills, with previous experience acting as the ambassador and occupier representative of a building/estate.
Person specification:
- We’re looking for a candidate with strong management experience gained within a high-profile Grade A office environment. You must have proven expertise in commercial real estate asset management, landlord and tenant, leasing, and property management.
- You should be conscientious, detail oriented and systematic, with strong client relationship building skills and a customer focussed approach.
