Carbon60 is working alongside a leading aviation company in the UK for a Check Manager. The role will be based at Manchester Airport as soon as possible. The Check Manager will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of the allocated maintenance and oversee maintenance tasks to ensure regulatory compliance. Note: This job is also available on a contract basis, with good rates of pay outside of IR35. Delivering allocated maintenance inputs, Projects, and company initiatives to schedule. Line managing staff, assisting base maintenance management team, and allocating task and responsibilities as required. Issue certificates of release to service for the specific aircraft type within the scope of limitations of their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document. Deliver staff briefings and maintain progress log against tasks and updating Senior Management as required. Ensure a daily progress report is issued for the aircraft under maintenance. Category B licensed engineers must hold C certification by aircraft type.
