Job Description
We’re looking to recruit 2 General Managers within our growing Contracting department.
Reporting to the Head of Contracting, the General Manager of Contracting will assume o verall contracting responsibility and ownership for a geographical area.
What will you do in the role?
- Operating in a challenging and fast paced environment, the General Manager of Contracting role is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day and short-term contracting function is fulfilled to business requirements and adhering to due diligence.
- Be key in developing the medium to long-term contracting strategy for the relevant destinations
heavily focused on people management and will provide support to the area manager role. - Coaching and mentoring of staff to ensure colleague progression through the department and succession planning
- A subject matter expert with excellent knowledge of contracting within a Tour Operator environment
- An experienced team leader with a desire to help colleagues progress
- Pro-active and confident individual with a focus on both successful delivery and relationship building
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
- A strong track record of forging effective business relationships, both internally and externally
These roles will require business travel across Europe on a frequent basis.
