Pearson Whiffin Education are excited to recruit a passionate Geography Teacher to join our school in Medway, Kent in September 2024. We are seeking someone who can inspire students to explore the popular subject. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Geography teacher to become part of a well - established and prosperous department. The successful applicant would work as part of the Geography department encouraging and inspiring all students to reach their full potential in this important curriculum area.
In order to qualify as a Geography Teacher, you will need:
Demonstrate an understanding of the Geography curriculum at KS3 and KS4
Proven classroom experience or training as a Geography Teacher.
A willingness to embrace new teaching technologies in the classroom and in your teaching methodologies.
Good classroom management
The Geography curriculum taught at this school is designed to be active and encourage student participation and engagement. This role is suitable for teachers in their early teaching careers (ECTs) or experienced teachers.
