Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to secondary school students
• Plan and prepare engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Establish a positive class environment that promotes learning and ensures student engagement
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
• Organize and participate in educational activities, field trips, and school events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching Geography to secondary school students
• Excellent knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Geography
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff
