Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Assess and evaluate student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' academic and social development
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities
- Provide individualized support to students with additional learning needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
- Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Geography to primary/secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere and manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
