Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
