The Strategic Global Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing the relationship with one of Verkada's largest global accounts. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who will drive revenue growth by strategically managing the account and building strong internal and external relationships at an executive level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a pipeline of upwards of $5M a year, and supporting the customer in rolling out Verkada across 50+ global countries. Experience working with a global customer procuring software and hardware, whilst leveraging a channel network to fulfill global delivery model is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the global account, including executives and decision-makers.
  • Understand the customer's business objectives, challenges, and requirements to effectively position Verkada's solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Executive Leadership, Sales Engineering, Product Management, Channel and Customer Success, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the account.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations to the customer.
  • Prepare and drive weekly, quarterly and annual review meetings with the customer.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in strategic account management across a global account and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with an extensive global channel network
  • Experience navigating logistics requirements related to importing hardware across 50+ countires 
  • Ability to understand complex customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge of retail, the technology industry and familiarity with security and surveillance solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
