About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small Global External Corporate Communications Team transforming the way we use our digital channels to grow our global brand presence and connect with our key audiences. We are looking for a Digital Corporate Communications Manager who is ready to lead our corporate social media channels (currently LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and YouTube) and our corporate website here.

The role will be responsible for defining and implementing our corporate social media strategy and plan, creating impactful content and campaigns for social and website, keeping our website current, gathering analytics to constantly improve the effectiveness of our external communications via these channels and working across the organisation to consistently be setting a high bar in our digital channel communications.

The success of this role will be seen through effective digital channels that grow the positive visibility and recognition of our company externally as well as the creation and successful delivery of innovative social media plans and content that help tell our story across social and website.

You will work closely with different functions and businesses across the company, and particularly the Global Marketing team.

About You

You will have significant social media, website and analytics experience in B2B (desired) or B2C projects and companies. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding and track record of using digital channels (especially social media), content and analytics to drive positive reputation, brand awareness and business growth. Hungry for impact, you will have examples where you have successfully led digital channels and developed social media content strategy, created timely and impactful on-brand content and campaigns, and left sustained capability across teams. You will have been part of fast moving environments and be keen to communicate and influence at all levels of the business. Most of all, you will be excited by delivering transformation in a key focus area.

What you'll be doing

Drive social media strategy development:

  • Formulate and implement a global social media strategy and content plan for our corporate channels aligned with organisational goals and key stakeholders, also gaining buy-in from key internal stakeholders.

  • Create and deliver KPIs and targets, and prepare regular reports to showcase performance and any need to adapt strategies.

  • Identify emerging trends to enhance social media communication effectiveness.

Lead social media content and channel management:

  • Manage, curate and create copy (long and short form) and assets for compelling digital corporate content and campaigns across multiple platforms, especially social media, but also website, video and email.

  • Work with content owners across the business to ensure digital content is up-to-date and relevant, and to ensure it’s consistent with brand guidelines (working with our Brand Manager) and resonates with diverse, global audiences.

  • Lead social media initiatives, including content planning, posting schedules, and community engagement and management.

  • Ensure effective governance is in place and maintained across all social channels.

  • Working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and ISIT Developer Team, manage, maintain and optimise the website for user experience, relevance, keywords, SEO and governance.

  • Lead on uploading approved content for the website.

Be responsible for global collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal global and regional teams (especially marketing and nutrition) to ensure consistent messaging and to adapt regional commercial campaign content for global corporate social channels.

  • Co-operate with a small network of social media and website channel managers.

  • Facilitate training and provide support to colleagues on social media best practices.

  • Collaborate with our ISIT team to support the delivery of key digital projects and development work needed on our website.

What you'll have

  • Significant experience in digital communications / digital marketing, analytics and communications roles in a global B2B role in the food & beverage industry is advantageous, but FMCG / agency / a highly regulated industry also relevant.

  • Experience in leading / managing digital channels, setting social media strategy and creating content plans a necessity, alongside capability in digital analytics and tools for publishing, online visibility etc and leveraging them for decision making.

  • Demonstrated examples of driving brand, reputation or business growth through social channels.

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and timelines from multiple stakeholders within a complex organisation.

  • Creative and problem-solving skills.

  • Oral and written communication and presentation skills.
