About the role:


Leading global paid search, video and display activity for the division across all relevant platforms such as Google, Microsoft Advertising, Yandex, Baidu, Naver, YouTube


Reporting to: Paid Marketing Director - Beauty


Responsible for: Performance of global paid search, video and display activity. Budgets of £100m a year. Revenue delivery of £500m annually. Developing structures, process, and strategies for the paid media regional teams. Applying best practices and testing frameworks to ensure optimal performance and development of the channel.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Use data driven insights to quickly iterate and methodically improve results day on day, week on week and month on month.
  • Specifics of account management and optimisation include Campaign structure, keyword research, keyword management, keyword bidding, ad copywriting and testing, search content integration, related search strategies, landing page testing, and any other core capability required to maximise results, drive volume and hit targets.
  • Forecasting daily, monthly and yearly budgets.
  • Delivery of performance targets and ownership of analysis / insights.
  • Supporting the paid media team with strategic direction.
  • Conducting competitor research and analysis
  • Facilitating flow of communication from Senior Leadership team into Operational Paid Media team.
  • Delegation of tasks based on prioritisation to paid media team.

KPI’s:



  • Global paid media performance, measured against Revenue, COS%, Customer acquisition and CAC.
  • Delivery of strategy across all relevant platforms and surfaces.
  • Reporting on performance, transparent communication back to the trading, buying and management teams.
  • Team management and growth of team members
